AWinware PDF Encryption is useful tool to encrypt Adobe Acrobat PDF Document. AWinware PDF Encryption user interface looks like below.

How to register PDF Encryption
AWinware PDF Encryption is not freeware. You may install the trial version of the SOFTWARE PRODUCT to test and evaluate it for 30 trials; after this time you must register the product to use the SOFTWARE PRODUCT permanently.
After installing full version of AWinware PDF Encryption, run the application, a product registration window will appear.
Within 48 hours after the payment transaction has been processed, you will receive an e-mail containing necessary registration information. Email provides you the download link of full version software and a registration key to register the product. Enter the registration key and user name in appearing window. Now the product is registered.

Unable to Input the License Key in box 'XXXX-XXXX-XXXX':
Please note that the trial version can not be registered using license key. Please follow the instructions given below to register:
1. Uninstall the existing trial version.
2. Download full version using the link provided in the email which contains license key.
3. Install the full version.
4. Now try to register the application with provided license key.
How to use PDF Encryption
Run application, you will be presented with the first main screen as shown below

Import PDF documents:
Click on add PDF files button to import selected files only and click on add PDF folder button to import all documents inside a directory at once. You can also import sub-folders documents by selecting inlcude PDF Encryption files button in add folder window.
Any wrong selection can be removed using remove PDF Encryption files button.
Use clear list button to make the list empty.
Set Password
Two types of password setting is provided:
Owner Password: To restrict pdf permissions for document editing, printing & copying etc. Setting of this password disable pdf print button, deny pdf form filling, restrict pdf signing, commenting, page extraction & document conversion into another file formats.

User Password: To restrict pdf opening; a popup message appears to ask user to type password to view pdf document, if you set pdf this password in document.

Note: To view password characters, press eye button adjacent with password box. Using settings panel, you can change view mode of password from hidden to actual characters.
Choose Encryption level:
Select any of the encryption level based on your requirement.

40-Bit RC4: For Acrobat 3.X, 4.X
128-Bit RC4: For Acrobat 5.X or above
128-Bit AES: For Acrobat 7.X or above

Set Required Restrictions:
Set one or more restrictions with document as per the requirement.

Set output location & Encrypt Document:
Output pdf can be saved in 2 different locations:
- Custom selected specified directory as output
- Save output in same folder as source.

Note: In settings panel, making ‘Prefix’ && ‘suffix’ value blank may overwrite original source pdf document if ‘output is same folder as source’ selected for output path.
Final step, press encrypt pdf button button to encrypt all the imported pdf documents.
